How to Calculate Your Kua Number?

To find your Kua Number, you’ll need just two things:

• Your year of birth

   

• Your gender

   

The calculation is different depending on whether you were born before or after the year 2000, and whether you’re male or female.

If You Were Born Before 2000:

For Males

1. Take the last two digits of your birth year
   – Example: 1991 → 91

    

2. Add the digits: 9 + 1 = 10 → 1 + 0 = 1

    

3. Subtract from 10: 10 – 1 = 9
   Kua Number = 9

    

For Females

1. Take the last two digits of your birth year
   – Example: 1991 → 91

    

2. Add the digits: 9 + 1 = 10 → 1 + 0 = 1

    

3. Add 5: 1 + 5 = 6
   Kua Number = 6

    

If You Were Born in 2000 or Later:

For Males

1. Take the last two digits of your birth year
   – Example: 2001 → 01

    

2. Add the digits: 0 + 1 = 1

    

3. Subtract from 9: 9 – 1 = 8
   Kua Number = 8

    

For Females

1. Take the last two digits of your birth year
   – Example: 2001 → 01

    

2. Add the digits: 0 + 1 = 1
